Teen Wheel Throwing Courses
We’re excited to offer a dedicated 6-week wheel throwing course for teens aged 12–19, starting the week of Thursday, 31st of July 2025.
This course is designed specifically for teens who are keen to explore the art of wheel throwing. Whether they're complete beginners or have some experience, students will learn pottery wheel techniques in a fun, supportive, and creative environment.

Thursday evenings, 5:00pm – 7:30pm
Course content:
Week 1: Centering clay
Week 2: Throwing cylinders
Week 3: Throwing small bowls
Week 4: Throwing larger bowls
Week 5: Trimming ceramics
Week 6: Glazing
The course fee is $495, which includes:
Pottery equipment
One bag of clay
Basic essential pottery tools
Decorating materials
Selected glazes
*Firing costs are seperate - We charge $10 per kilogram for firing of non-glazed items and $12 per kilogram for firing of glazed items.
Notes:
Students are responsible for cleaning their wheel and the tools they’ve used at the end of each class.
Please bring an apron and a hand towel, wear closed-toe shoes, and ensure long hair is tied up for safety and comfort during the session.
Finished ceramic pieces will be ready for collection 2–3 weeks after the final class.
Full payment is required before the course begins to confirm a booking. Cancellations are non-refundable if made within one week of the course start date.
