School Holiday Pottery Workshops for Kids
School Holiday Pottery Workshops for Kids
Get creative these school holidays with our hands-on pottery workshops designed just for kids!
We’re excited to open two different classes these holidays:
1️⃣ Wheel Throwing for kids aged 8+
2️⃣ Hand Building for kids aged 5+
✨ Wheel Throwing Workshops (ages 8+)
In the wheel throwing workshop, children will learn how to centre clay and create their very own ceramic pieces using the pottery wheel. Perfect for curious minds, this hands-on session introduces kids to the magic of the wheel in a fun, supportive environment. They’ll get messy, learn something new, and walk away with a sense of accomplishment (and two fired pieces to keep!).
What’s included:
All materials and tools
Step-by-step guidance
Use of pottery wheels
Firing of 2 finished pieces (additional pieces $10 each)
Suitable for: Kids aged 8 and above – no experience required.
Pick one of the Wheel Throwing Workshops dates (ages 8+):
9th July, Wednesday - 11am to 1pm
11th July, Friday - 11am to 1pm
15th July, Tuesday - 11am to 1pm

✨ Hand Building Workshops (ages 5+)
In our hand building workshops, younger kids can dive into clay using simple sculpting and shaping techniques—no wheel involved! This playful and imaginative session helps children create their own ceramic forms while learning the basics of working with clay. Kids will be producing their own bells and whistles, decorating them, and having fun playing with their creations.
