Homeschooling - Wheel Throwing Courses
We’re excited to offer a dedicated 4-week wheel throwing course for homeschoolers aged 8+, starting the week of Monday, 23rd of February 2026.
This course is designed specifically for kids who are keen to explore the art of wheel throwing. Whether they're complete beginners or have some experience, students will learn pottery wheel techniques in a fun, supportive, and creative environment.

👥 Class Capacity:
Each class requires a minimum of 5 students and has a maximum of 10 students.
Classes with fewer than 5 enrolled students may be cancelled.
Course content:
Week 1: Centering clay
Week 2: Throwing cylinders and making cups and mugs
Week 3: Trimming and painting (underglaze)
Week 4: Glazing
The course fee is $350, which includes:
Pottery equipment
One bag (10kg) of clay
Basic essential pottery tools
Decorating materials
Selected glazes and undergalze paints
***Firing fees are not included in course fees.
The cost is $10 per kilogram for non-glazed pieces, and $12 per kilogram for glazed pieces.
Notes:
Parents are required to help clean the stations after class if the child is young and unable to do it properly.
Leaving children unattended is not allowed; a parent must stay with the child.
Please bring an apron and a hand towel, wear closed-toe shoes, and ensure long hair is tied up for safety and comfort during the session.
Finished ceramic pieces will be ready for collection 2–3 weeks after the final class.
Full payment is required before the course begins to confirm a booking. Cancellations are non-refundable if made within one week of the course start date.
